ITS link
The Islamic Texts Society is a notable Islamic publishers. A UK registered charity it was established in 1981 and has published many great Islamic books since then.
The ITS focuses on producing English translations of important Islamic books with an emphasis upon the Sufi and classical Islam traditions, but it has also published a number of contemporary scholarly works as well. The Islamic Texts Society has focused upon high quality publications, but maintain a long-term goal of eventually producing a comprehensive library on Islam and the Islamic sciences.
Of key interest to many readers is the Society’s focus upon translating and publishing the works of the great Muslim reviver Imam Muhammad Abu Hamid al Ghazali (ra).
A new project for the Society is the Muslim Personalities Series which is dedicated to the lives, ideas and writings of Muslims who have contributed to Islamic thought throughout the centuries.
As has been mentioned the Islamic Texts Society is a charity. It is dependent on fund-raising to continue its works. Those who are interested in supporting its works may contact them on the following address “funds@its.org.uk”
